It does appear from phone calls to several Compton schools that they are remaining open at this time, is unconfirmed by district officials at this time.

LAPD said the school district received some sort of threat – with unknown credibility.

Several LAUSD school bus drivers told Eyewitness News that they have been called back by their dispatchers to their respective bus depots.

Police did not give specifics on the threat or the surrounding investigation.

More details about the threat were expected to be provided during a Tuesday morning news conference.
