Twitter Introduces 3 New Ad Options
Twitter allows users and businesses to create promoted paid content in campaigns that appear as Promoted or Follower Ads in the Twitter feed. These ads are published to a wide audience of your choice for increased visibility and exposure.
Twitter has launched three new advertising options, including:
- collection ads
- dynamic product ads
- Website conversion optimization
Effectively Research your target audience, these options are very useful. We’ll take a closer look at each of these new advertising options to give you a better understanding of how each works.
1. Website conversions optimisation
This new option is included in Twitter’s “Conversions” goal. Website Conversion Optimization (WCO) allows advertisers to focus their advertising promotions by targeting Twitter users who are likely to take specific actions on their ads. In Twitter’s words, it “improves how advertisers reach customers who are most likely to convert with her website actions on lower funnels.”
Prior to this, businesses could target clicks, site visits, and conversions when optimizing their ads. However, updates to WCO have enabled us to further optimize add-to-cart, page views, content views, and transactions.
Advertisers and businesses can therefore broaden their focus to target individuals who are more likely to take next-step actions than simply tapping on an ad.
2. Collection ads
Advertisers can display different product photos in collection ads with a large hero image and many smaller thumbnail photos underneath. This ad is a combination of a carousel post and a static image ad. The hero image stays in place while the user can swipe the small photo at the bottom.
According to tests conducted by Twitter, collection ads can increase conversions from impressions by an average of 54{ea2cba5bdf6fe62bbe85e24807814144a71e77d3ae7311fbc27a008558d1372c} and click-through rates by an average of 42{ea2cba5bdf6fe62bbe85e24807814144a71e77d3ae7311fbc27a008558d1372c}.
