October is National Women’s Small Business Month, a time to recognize and celebrate female entrepreneurs who have started small businesses across the country. And there’s a lot to celebrate these days.according to 2022 survey, 49{ea2cba5bdf6fe62bbe85e24807814144a71e77d3ae7311fbc27a008558d1372c} of businesses started in 2021 were formed by women. This represents a dramatic increase from her 2019, when only 28{ea2cba5bdf6fe62bbe85e24807814144a71e77d3ae7311fbc27a008558d1372c} of women started new businesses. The pandemic has not delayed women. 1. American Business Women Association
Founded in 1949, ABWA’s mission is to bring together businesswomen from all walks of life and provide them with opportunities for personal and professional growth through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition. 2. Promotion
Ellevate is a membership organization that defines itself as “a powerful coalition of ambitious and supportive women who believe there is power in numbers.” The organization is focused on networking and helping women build meaningful relationships (both local and digital). They host weekly roundtables, local chapter meetings, topical forums, and a variety of training programs for female small business owners who want to learn and grow.
3. Forbes Woman

4. National Association of Women Business Owners

5. National Council for Women in Business
The NWBC is a nonpartisan federal advisory board that advises and advocates for government officials and organizations, including the President, Congress, and the SBA. They offer webinars, host regular roundtables connecting women entrepreneurs and policymakers, and host public meetings to get input on policymaking.
6. SBA Office of Women’s Business Ownership
The Office of Women’s Business Ownership supports women small business owners through a variety of programs coordinated by SBA district offices. Programs include business training, counseling, federal contracts, fundraising and more to level the playing field for women entrepreneurs who still face unique obstacles in the business world. It’s not specifically aimed at female small business owners, but I would like to draw your attention to SBA’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC). SBDC provides high-quality, personalized business advice and technical assistance to existing small businesses and entrepreneurs looking to start new businesses. WBENC is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women small business owners succeed. Their certification is the most widely recognized and respected national certification for women-owned business owners in the United States. 11. Women influencing public policy
WIPP is a non-partisan organization that advocates for women entrepreneurs to increase their influence on public policy, create economic opportunity and partner with other business organizations.They run a program called ChallengeHER Increase government contracting opportunities for women small business owners and host annual summits and other events and educational programs.

The WPO describes itself as “an organization where dynamic and diverse women business leaders around the world harness collective insights to experience game-changing breakthroughs.
